On the TV they were warning about severe weather conditions and saying
' If you don't have to go out, don't'. It was icy cold .

Man United AND City were playing at home.

There had been accidents on the M6 and M56 and M62 and blockages all over the place

We really would not have been surprised if no-one had turned up, but . . . .

There's no heater in this rod . . is this dedication or what !

I think a few folk were just going for a 'warm' in Sue & Tony's dayvan. Not a bad idea.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who came out; there were another half dozen daily drivers as well as the cars above.

Cold? cold? It was ( literally ) freezing and the roadway outside the pub was solid ice !

Don't know what was wrong with the heating in the pub,
but half of us kept our coats and woolly hats on !

Just a reminder that we're meeting at lunchtime ( from about 12.30 ) on the Sunday between
Xmas and the New Year, same as we did last year.
Get out of the house for a couple of hours and show off your new
scarf, sweater, tie, shoes, socks etc!!!!!
