American Auto Mags' Meet
May 5th at the Cheshire Lounge
Probably more variety
of cars than we've seen in a long time !
Good to see the VW Campers again and a few PT Cruisers,
as well as our regular rodders and American enthusiasts.
The total numbers seemed less than expected but then I realised
that quite a few of our regulars had come in their daily drivers
and there were probably 40 cars in the Euro field !
Well the weather held out for us and although I was tired,
having come out of hospital only about two hours or so before the Meet,
it was a good evening with plenty of talking and just a little drinking.
Tell you what though, by half eight, I'd had enough of being the parking attendant
and I was glad to get back inside in the warm !
If we ever do get a proper
warm and sunny evening . . . . .
