Great to see one of our friends,
Paul Kennedy, at the Cruise.
Although he's been very poorly
and he's still got a way to go
before he's 100% again,
it was marvellous to see him
up and about : what a great
example of positive
mental attitude.
Paul, you know we were both
surprised and thrilled to see you -
thanks for coming.
Being only a couple of days
after the New Year,
we didn't have
any idea how many people would
turn up, but hey, you all did us proud.
Brendan, our friendly neighbourhood
motorway patrolman and AreaRep for the AACI had told me he was on duty
tonight, but if he had the opportunity,
would call in and say hello.
Well, he did !
As luck would have
it,
Gareth, another one of our regulars,
also turned up, in his NYC
patrol car and we were treated
to a UK / USA light show !
