AMERICAN AUTO MAGS CHESHIRE
CRUISE - JULY 2004
As you can see from this first
photo, the sky was grey, very grey.
What the photo does'nt show, is the wind, which was increasing all the time.
Not the most inviting evening to be standing out .

According to the radio, the bad
weather in the south of the country
is heading up north and I'm
thinking to myself,
'how many people are gong to turn up' .
The weather is awful and getting
worse ; it's Americana this weekend
and I know a number of our regulars have already set off for the show.

Hey, just look at these photos
!
Did we get a good crowd or did we get a good crowd !
Enthusiasts came from all over
the place -
Lancs., Ches., Staffs., & Yorks.
Although the Nags Head is easy
to find the second time you come....
well let's just say that a few
people saw more of Cheshire than
they expected, before they eventually arrived
Although I knew many of those
who came,
there were also plenty of faces I had not seen before.
It certainly seems like the word is spreading.

Hey, what a brilliant selection
of cars ( and trucks ! )
The length of the approach road
is such that we can get
all the vehicles in a line. Impressive ? ....You
bet.

About 20 cars cruised to Knutsford,
went twice round the town
and came back to tell us just how satisfying it was to hear all those V8's
sounding off as they drove slowly through this quiet little Cheshire town.
It was too cold for there to be
lots of people walking around but
those who did see and hear them were quite clearly positively impressed !
I'll sign off by saying thanks
to everyone who came.
Without you, it simply does'nt happen.
With you, it's a great night.
Look forward to seeing you next month !
Graham
