American Auto Mags Cheshire
Cruise : May 2004
|
Sorry it has taken me so long to put the photos
up, this is the first free night I've had !
Great turnout, considering the weather. Although the skies were bright,
the Yorkshire crew were telling us they had come through some atrocious rain
over the Pennines. At 60'ish miles each way, they won the Long Distance Tenner,
I know that Brendan, the AACI Area Rep, was more than happy with the attendance
of his club members.
I was also more than pleased to learn that the pub should have closed for
two weeks
on the Monday previous, but that Dianne, the new landlady, had got the work
delayed
until the Thursday, so we could still have our cruise ! Thanks Dianne.
The 20% discount on food and drink, up to 8.30pm came in very handy,
and quite a few of us did our best to get the most out of that !
Thanks to everyone who came, including members from the AACI, AAC NW,
Barrie Dixon and Gareth ( sorry if I've got that wrong, I'm still learning
all the names )
from the Mercury Cougar UK Chapter, the NSCC folk from Preston and Wigan
and everyone else who came and made it into a good night out.
Here are the photos.....
See you in June !
