AMERICAN AUTO MAGS'
CHESHIRE CRUISE
6th April 2005

We arrived at about 6.45pm
and, although the Cruise officially starts at 7.30pm, there were two Corvettes already there ; soon to be followed by two C6s. Woooow !

As you can see, the sky is looking a little threatening but, actually, when I look at it again, it is looking very threatening !

Now that's a nice pair !

And yes, that is as good a registration as you are going to get.

Our thanks to the owners for showing them tonight. Look out for a feature in Classic American.

Though I say it myself, that's not a bad photo.

There I am, stood in the middle of the road and I think this feller has forgotten which is the brake pedal.
Thankfully, he remembers just in time
.

One of the things that makes the Cruise such a pleasure, is the sheer variety of vehicles that come.

Show cars, projects and daily drivers;
we see them all and.....they are all welcome.

Did I say variety ?

yes, I did.....

If you are wondering where everyone is, they're all inside the Nags Head,
because it's gone coooooold !!!

Just on a general note, the local authority has cut down a lot of the trees on the embankment, which
makes our area a lot lighter.

Just thought you would like to know !

You know, modern American cars have
styling as good as anything in Europe,
no matter what Clarkson says.

More cars are arriving and people are telling us that they have driven through torrential wind and rain !

One feller even says he's driven through snow to get here !

The first thing to do , when you arrive, is to go inside and get warm.

A lot of people are having a good meal in the restaurant and chilling out, er no, warming up .

Looks nice from the outside and it's pretty good inside as well.

Good company, a warm fire, lots of mags to browse and something to drink.
Life's not too bad.

You know, some people are hardier than others !

It must have been freezing in this.
Nice though.

It just looks good, doesn't it.
Character, that's what it's got, character.

Hey, Graham, this one's for you.

Gotta say, I've always had a sneaking admiration for this Plymouth.

It's so ugly, it's sexy !!!!

That dayvan looks smooth.

I wanted to photo the two VWs but
this was the last photo I took
before the camera batteries expired !

We ended up with more than 45 vehicles and I want to say a big thank you to everyone, not just for turning up , but for turning out in conditions that were far from ideal.

It made our first anniversary a memorable one.

Graham
