AMERICAN AUTO MAGS'
CHESHIRE CRUISE

Midday Meet, 30th December 2007

The idea was to get out of the house for an hour or two, in between Xmas and the New Year,
to 'blow the cobwebs off' and meet some like-minded folk, in the daylight !

The weather on Saturday, had been awful: Wind, rain and cold
and we thought no-one would turn up if the conditions didn't change.

In the event, it stayed dry, there was noticeable wind and it didn't get particularly cold
until about 2 o'clock.

What a brilliant turnout !
30'ish yanks and rods plus. I guess, another ten or so daily drivers.

.....got my new camera !!!!!

The first folk were there by 12.15pm . . .

. . and then there was a steady little stream of cars . . .
including Paul Kennedy in the Willys.

Great to see Shaun Wilson and his '32 making an appearance.
Looking at the all the yellow and black squares, I'm guessing he's got shares in a masking tape company.
I don't know all the details but hasn't it got a real period feel to it.

this pic has come out a little fuzzy, but you can still see the classy Mustang lines in the old and the new .

Pete's only sprayed it yellow so he can find it easily in Morrison's carpark !

I was just getting ready to take the pic when . . . .

ah, you can see it a bit better now . . .

Martin got his Lightning a little while ago but this is Adam's first public outing in his Dodge Dakota, and very nice it is too.
